Where We Want to Be
Port Tenants Association has worked with environmental groups to
secure passage of legislation funding a non-toxic boat bottom paint
project, helped sponsor legislation on to create a San Diego Bay
Advisory committee, undertaken (in partnership with the Port
District) a complete revamping of the Port’s Leasing Policy, been
actively involved in redevelopment plans for the city’s historic
North Embarcadero.
We are represented on several port District Committees, including
Real Estate Advisory, Cruise Ship Advisory, Public Art, Urban
Forestry, and Marketing.
In 2003 and 2004 paid particular attention to Maritime Trade
matters and issues affecting our industrial tenants. Our membership
is kept abreast of these matters through newsletters, outreach
programs and workshops.

As another year of exciting challenges continues to unfold, the
SDPTA remains focused on protecting the interests of its members,
